Day 1: Islamabad to Chilas

By Road: Travel on the Karakoram Highway (KKH) and take a turn at Jaglot towards Astore (~4-5 hours from Gilgit).
Via Babusar Pass (June–October only): A shorter and more scenic route from Naran to Chilas, then Astore.
By Air: Fly to Gilgit Airport and drive to Astore (~4-5 hours).
The ideal time to visit is:
